Sadie joined the Embrace team during the Fall semester of her junior year in 2022, where she started as a Consumer Insight Specialist. Upon staying with the team, Sadie was promoted to the role of Account Executive, before finally taking on the role of CEO during her senior year. 

“I wanted to be in a place where everyone was invested and where I could see their dedication come through in success,” Sadie said. “Embrace has been an invaluable asset to me in terms of the skills I gained and the people I met. I learned how to organize projects, how to work in a team and bring together all perspectives as a leader.”

During her time on the team, one of Sadie’s greatest achievements was the promotion of Embrace itself. As CEO, she strived to create awareness and highlight the impact of Embrace on the UE and Evansville communities. Through her efforts, Sadie established connections and strategies for UE professors and departments to share Embrace with their students. In turn, Sadie was able to lead and grow Embrace via her recruitment efforts, and leave a legacy of constant improvement for future teams to aspire towards.

For current UE students who are interested in joining the Embrace team, Sadie leaves a statement of encouragement.

“If you’re on the fence about whether or not you want to apply for Embrace, just go for it!,” Sadie added. “Embrace changed the whole trajectory of my career interests and it was amazing to get the real-world experience I needed to feel confident going into the workforce.”
